Tim Riley

Tim is a self-taught artist and writer who works in a wide variety of mediums. Over the years he has been able to utilize his skills while working in many fields and genres.

He has designed and built custom computers for a variety of companies, done graphic design and production in the t-shirt/screen printing industry,
and worked as a newspaper “editorial” cartoonist and reporter at several weekly newspapers. He has also spent time on both AM and FM radio stations as an on-air announcer.

Over the years Tim’s cartoons and spot illustrations have appeared in the newsletters and fanzines of many science fiction, comic, and Star Trek fan
clubs, and program books for conventions including Shoreleave, Mobile Comic Con, Pensacon ‘96, and the World Science Fiction Convention. They have also
been published in many professional publications in the science fiction and comics fields from THWAK and GFan (Godzilla mag), to Scary Monsters
Magazine and the Fandom Directory.

His most personal effort has been his cartoon strip “T.R.&Co.” In it, he brings to life characters and stories based on his own experiences over the
years traveling to hundreds of conventions as a fan, a comics & collectibles dealer, and an artist. Tim draws upon those experiences when creating the “fannish adventures” his characters go on.
